A family garden

In Shasta County the creeks run with the wet season and quiet down in the summer heat. Fox Creek is Hannah Bailey’s family garden, named for the seasonal stream across the front field. She grew up on farm stands, river blackberries, and the names of plants. The bouquets are whatever that field is giving.
